Magnificent Mopars
Although E-body Mopars (Barracuda and Challengers) appear to be the most expensive, the B-Bodied Mopars are the most popular. The American people have always been "wowed" by a Dodge Super Bee or Plymouth Road Runner pulling up next to them at the local drive-in restaurant or the main street stop light. There is only so many of us fortunate enough to have sat behind the wheel of one of Detroit's bad street cars and heard the rumble of that factory high-performance engine. Guess the other guys (brand X'ers) will just have to be happy with their four wheels as they watch the tail lights of a Mopar.
Many engines were available in these magnificent mopars which included the high-winding "340" magnum, the "383" magnum, the "400" magnum, the "413" Max Wedge, the "426" Max Wedge (both of these also had a milder street version available),the well respected "440" magnum, the drag strip king "440-6 pack" (which produced 390 horsepower), and the most famous production engine ever built...the "Elephant 426 Hemi." With so many available engine options, who could compete? The Mopars are as popular(or more popular) than the 1955-1957 Chevy's, except with the GO!
In my everday adventures through life I am always looking for restorable Mopars. If you have on to sell or are looking for one to restore yourself, e-mail me and I'll see if i can help you. I'd rather see someone putting this cars together than to see them rust into the earth. I also have access to many parts for your Mopars.
E-mail me with your needs or wants and hope you enjoyed the page. Look for more additions in the future!
